Step 1 – Early Spring

Steps 3 and 4 can be replaced with a systemic insecticide for grub worms and other surface feeding insects. This application replaces the two summer applications and controls insects for 60-90 days , and is recommended.

You can either choose between the recommended 6-step program or the 4-step program which would not include the late summer or late fall applications. Lime applications will be available upon request in the fall. A reminder will be included in the fall application for these soil treatments. The grub worm application will be available in place of the early summer and summer applications applied from late May through August. This application is beneficial in controlling grub worm activity that can be damaging to the lawn. Fungicide applications are available upon request.
